屋宅如同一个梦，在不同的时代演绎城市内发生的生活景况，传承都会在瞬息万变间所遗留的风华，任人驰骋想像。

　　本案位处于北京城，这个曾是全中国最亲近权势的城市，时光荏苒之际兴建了许多象征科技与前卫精神的玻璃帷幕楼宇，在新旧建筑的对比中，却也衍生出嬉游古今时空的玩味。设计师希望给予这个立身于玻璃帷幕的楼中楼，拥有一种与旧往今昔对话的意涵。提供居住者身处科技便利的空间中，仍可与城市丰沛的历史样貌产生联系与对应，领略其独有的细致人文。

　　玻璃盒

　　本案置身的现代建筑面对亮马河与大使馆区，四周均以玻璃帷幕构成，外观深具科技性格。由于节能因素，建筑规划双层玻璃墙作空气回流，如何在这座被景观围绕的玻璃盒营塑居住空间的私密性，同时所有家具必需避免依靠墙面，成为主要的设计课题。

　　设计师不想将居所封闭于一栋崭新的外壳中，而是从见证性时代演进的思维发酵，企图让空间内的活动、居住者行为与城市氛围开启对话可能，型构身处现代繁华却又能与城市历史作接轨、与发生中的瞬息变迁相互动等特质。整体构思近似于一座可观察城市发展纹理的玻璃盒，全室使用大量的玻璃隔间、门片镂空的洞槽、绢丝或柳枝质材屏风达到引光、筛光的效果，借着丰沛自由的光线穿错，诱发空间静物产生绚丽生命的光彩，对照窗外都城浓郁的历史况味。

　　二个楼层除客厅、玄关保留挑空，其余厅房均分配于楼高2米4至2米6不等的空间中，除了必要性的机能隔间，全室尽可能保留通透开扬的特质。考量居所内的安全感，局部空间加入了墙、柱作为依靠介面，借此塑造视觉的稳定性，达到维系居住隐私、创造景深层次等功能，而巧妙回避因玻璃幕帏迎受四方光线变化所引发的骚动心绪。

　　人文的奢华

　　本案诉求虽然为豪宅，设计师却希望跳脱华宅常见的炫耀姿态，借着人文深度为居所染覆安逸馨香的诗境，减化建筑自身的冰冷调性，进一步萌发深刻的生活灵感。

　　全室运用以米、棕等中性色系构成温暖基调，选用皮革、实木、大理石铺陈立面与地坪，透过素材稳重且尊贵的质感，缔造低调奢华的生活意念。借着轻隔间、镂空手法、屏风传递的暧昧翦影，达到框景与丰富空间层次等目的，提供居住者醉人的温馨氛围，从生活韵味的品赏间，悉心见证北京丰美迷人的今昔容颜。

　　A home is a dream, a dream that run wide from the memory of one's life and from the places one has wandered. It bears signatures of self and residues of the past and expectations of a rewrite of this signature in the future.

　　Within Beijing in recent years there have been many modern apartment buildings popping up within the old city. In one of these apartments a family has the privilege to reside high above the ground. Here they can contemplate the beauty of the historical city as well as have the good fortune to enjoy every luxury and convenience of household activity.

　　Glass box

　　This very exceptional curtain-wall clad apartment stands in the foreign diplomatic zone. Its futuristic outlook brings forth a non-separated impression of its luxury and high-tech quality. Crucial energy concerns led to a curtain wall that adopts the most advanced double glazing system . The designer had to deal with the contradictions of interior privacy and exterior views. Transparency brings a fashionable fa?ade yet increases the intense scrutiny of a residence's privacy.

　　The designer sees the skin as beneficial for new life patterns rather than simply as a chic glazing skin. He had to transform an even light into multiple layers of light. An ingenious adoption of tectonic fashions has been contrived to create a sieve like skin that filter lights into different levels. Doors with embroiled pattern like a willow or silk skin veiled onto a partition surface induce light to travel at different speeds and magnitude. As light bring new life to its interior its glass skin become a privileged interface that mixes contemporary life with old Beijing, the city with a thousand year history.

　　The residence has two levels. The public space includes living room and the lobby preserving the existing double height ceiling. Other spaces are designated for more intimate functions. Partitions added within this apartment not only meet functional needs by segregating elements among the spaces. They are also actually intended to block light.

　　Even thought this apartment definitely qualifies as a luxury home, it does not have the common elements found in similar luxury apartment design. It proclaims a type of life not a life subjected to expensive furnishings and furniture. The furniture used in this home is quite simple and the color embracing its background is not ascetic but tinted with beige and light brown. What is most significant in this home design is the sincere ambience that has an intimate interior yet is protected from the visual intrusions of exterior life
